All of the photographs available in this site are taken by Rudy. His camera equipment of choice is Nikon DSLR and Nikkor lenses. While processing images in the "digital darkroom", only traditional tonal enhancements and cropping are done to bring out the finest qualities of the photo as it was originally taken. All of the archival pigment prints and transfer prints are numbered and signed. Rudy has set a high standard for what is produced. He maintains the finest inkjet print equipment, utilizing Hahnemuehle Fine Art paper with Ultra Chrome K3 inks. New for 2016 is the introduction of limited edition prints on metallic satin paper. All of the photographic prints are presented with an off-white, ph neutral (acid free) mat board and backed with an acid free foam board. A clear poly sleeve protects every print for shipment. Custom framing can be provided upon request. Please contact us for frame style examples.
The transfer prints are a hand made process of "transferring" the image from a negative onto an acid free art board, small wood tiles or multiple wood planks. This process gives each of the images there own unique qualities and the effects are never duplicated. The images that are transferred onto an acid free art board are given a satin finish protective UV coating while the images transferred onto wood are also stained to enhance the grain of the wood. The larger plank transfers come with a custom metal frame that has been treated with a "rust" patina giving each piece a weathered quality. Shipping charges for any and all prints are based on final size and destination.
