Early Saturday morning of June 25th, with the resident family of Peregrine Faclons perched atop the grand architecture of dowtown Evanston, the 2011 Fountain Square Art Festival was about to begin. The day was to be the first of two absolutely gorgeous days along the lake. The fine citizens of Evanston came out and did there part in making the weekend a success as well. Helen and I met so many great folks and we had a fantastic time. Thanks to all of the art festival sponsors, co-ordinators, and volunteers. And as if the weather and the great turnout wasn't enough, we went home with the ribbon for 1st Place, Best of Show in Photography. A true feat concidering the outstanding field of fine photographers on display at the show. July is a month for us to clean up and catch up and take some time for a relaxing weekend getaway. We start August with a bang as we roll into Glenview for the Art In The Glen Show. It's gonna be great! Hope to see you all there.
