I'm back !| 10 January, 2012 17:55 I'm back y'all ! OK I'll never be accused of tearing up the Blog-a-sphere with a minute by minute account of my daily exploits, but that would bore even me. On behalf of everyone here at De Ram & Company I wish you all the very best for a healthy and prosperous New Year. And speaking of the New Year, I've been busy processing some new images for the 2012 show season. I'm also pleased to announce our participation in the first exhibit of the year at the Deerpath Art League Gallery in Lake Forest Illinois. The opening reception will be Friday, January 13 from 5-8pm. If you're in the area please stop in and say hello. You can see what all of the excitement is about ! The schedule for 2012 is being planned as we type, so as show date are confirmed they will be posted. We're still waiting for winter to show up here in Illinois. Let's get on with it already. I think we're all fearing when it does get here it's gonna hang around into April. Oh well, nothing we can do but enjoy the day. See you soon. Steve, the beard looks good dude! Cheers, Rudy Holiday Cheer| 20 November, 2011 15:16 Hello and Happy Holidays to All ! A heart felt Thank You to everyone who attended one (or in some cases, a few) of our shows. We met so many interesting and wonderful people over the course of the spring, summer and fall. I'm currently working on next years Art Festival schedule. Look for the updated list in the spring. The cold and snowy months are a great time for me to organize new images, work on printing, matting and framing, and maybe get out for some beautiful winter photography. No cabin fever here. Winter is a wonderful time... well, except for the commuting part ! Please don't forget to place your Holiday order today. Shipping is free on all prints. Have a safe and joyous New Year. Hope to see you all in 2012. Cheers, Rudy A Fine Evanston Weekend| 05 July, 2011 21:23 Early Saturday morning of June 25th, with the resident family of Peregrine Faclons perched atop the grand architecture of dowtown Evanston, the 2011 Fountain Square Art Festival was about to begin. The day was to be the first of two absolutely gorgeous days along the lake. The fine citizens of Evanston came out and did there part in making the weekend a success as well. Helen and I met so many great folks and we had a fantastic time. Thanks to all of the art festival sponsors, co-ordinators, and volunteers. And as if the weather and the great turnout wasn't enough, we went home with the ribbon for 1st Place, Best of Show in Photography. A true feat concidering the outstanding field of fine photographers on display at the show. July is a month for us to clean up and catch up and take some time for a relaxing weekend getaway. We start August with a bang as we roll into Glenview for the Art In The Glen Show. It's gonna be great! Hope to see you all there. Cheers, Rudy Thanks !| 16 June, 2011 16:02 Our first ever Wells Street Art Festival was a huge success. Saturday started out cold, foggy and wet and continued that way for most of the day. However, the weather didn't stop the Art patrons and Festival lovers from coming out. Sunday brought cool breezes off of Lake Michigan and sunny skies much of the day. Thanks to everyone that took a little time to stop by the booth and look at the images. A special Thank You goes out to the Wells Street Festival judges for selecting us Best In Show for photography. The competition was 'top shelf' with many outstanding photographers from around the country. I am honored to have been selected among the talented group. No time to rest ! We're back on the road soon. Next stop, Evanston's Fountain Square Art Festival. Hope to see you there. Cheers, Rudy MenuSearch this blog:Calendar Of Posts
